Meet the Founder & Visionary of 
The Reign

Marcie worked as an Accountant for 21 years, after which she was obedient to the voice of God and cut the cord. She has been designing and decorating spaces part-time for friends and family for a number of years. Seven months after walking away from a successful career as an  Accountant, she started her Event design and décor business full-time. She then received the opportunity to open the doors to her own event space.

“Opening The Reign gave me the courage to change course and follow my passion.” Although weddings are her favorite, Marcie enjoys planning all events big and small, from casual to exquisite. In her opinion, all events are special moments to create memories. At The Reign, Marcie sits in the office as Lead Event planner and designer. She has a NOW faith attitude, a keen eye for details, and the skill set to tell her clients stories through designing their events. Her husband is her biggest cheerleader, her children are her drive to show up as her best self every day because she wants them to see that all things are possible if they believe.

 As for her events, she loves creating all things beautiful. Marcie said “I get an opportunity to fully allow my God-given gift of creativity to create memorable experiences. Despite all the hard work, I put into my business, I am blessed that it doesn’t feel like work at all. Especially after seeing my client’s faces light up with excitement and joy after they see the results of turning a blank dull space into a “Wow! This is beautiful!” space. This motivates and challenges me to raise the bar each time. This type of pressure is what gives me fuel to execute elegant and memorable experiences!”
